Q When will my goods be sent out?
 

A. We endeavour to send all orders received before 3pm (Monday to Friday) out the same day. All UK orders are sent using the Royal Mail 'signed for' service. This gives you peace of mind and helps us track any missing orders.
 

Q. Is it true that the MJ-816 has been discontinued?

A. Definitely not!  We are aware suppliers who are unable to source this light from the factory state that this light has been discontinued but it's not true. The MJ-816 continues in it's current format and in fact we have now launched it's big brother, the MJ-816E. This is a 1800 lumens version with a punchier, brighter central beam. This gives you more distance as well as the wide angle lights. The budget version of this model still remains.

Q. What about the MJ-808?

The MJ-808 is the original high power, low cost lamp. We appreciate that customers on a tigh budget need the best value lamp on the market. This is it! The 1000 lumens MJ-808E is available for those who want a punchier beam with a longer reach.

Q Whats the run time of my Magicshine battery?

Run times will vary depending on ambient conditions and the power output of your lights. Broadly speaking you can expect between 2.5 and 3 hours on a 900 lumen output light. However these are lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion provides very high power over extended periods of time and they are also flexible in terms of re-charging. However they are similar to the batteries in laptops and mobile phones. We provide instructions on how to charge, frequency etc but one of the features of this type of battery is that their output will diminish over time - as laptop and mobile phone batteries do.

Q. Why do you now also supply Open-Light Systems batteries?

A. Riders, especially MTB riders frequently call us about running times for events they are taking part in. We sourced the Open Light batteries simply because they are probably the leading European supplier of lithium-ion batteries suitable for bike lights in Europe. German designed and manufactured, they offer the very best in durability, safety, weatherproofing and running power.

Q. You offer a 12 month warranty; does this apply to all goods?

A. It applies to all goods including batteries. Anyone familiar with mobile phones (cell phones) and/or laptops, will be aware that the lithium-ion batteries used in these devices, whilst offering great performance, do reduce in power over time. This is due to a natural phenomena called cell oxidisation. However Magicshine UK  do warranty against significantly reduced running power for up to 12 months. MyTinySun prducts are of course warrantied for 24 months, being a premium brand.

Q. How do you manage returns?

A. If you ordered from us, then once we have agreed the return of the item, we will usually send a replacement out the same day. All we ask is that you return the original item to us in the box provided on receipt. You tell us not many on-line retailers adopt this policy; we like to think thats why more of you prefer to shop with Magicshine UK®!

Q. If I bought my goods from another retailer who also sells the item, can I just return my goods to you?

A. No, we can only accept faulty items if you bought them from us; and we DO require proof of purchase.
